How it all started
In 2002, Wendy van Ierschot started VIE People with a simple observation. The best HR solutions were only available to large corporates. Scale-ups had to make do with generic advice or consultants who wrote reports but did not cooperate.
That could be done differently.
Wendy built a team of experienced HR professionals who will stand alongside entrepreneurs. Not to write reports, but to build together. And to show how things can be better.
Today, 40+ People Partners work at VIE, spread across Amsterdam and Rotterdam. Together, we have guided more than 500 scale-ups through their growth phases. From the chaos of rapid growth to an organization that is ready for the next step.
In 2023, I wrote down the lessons I learned in building my own business as well as working for more than 500 scale-ups in my book Scale-ups & downs.
